Creator of many original productions that integrate the history and lifeblood of communities here and abroad, including: Odakle Ste with Bosnian Muslim refugees in Croatia, Commodities with pit traders on Wall Street, and Streets with tobacco workers in North Carolina
Founding member of Cornerstone Theater Company, an award-winning community-based ensemble; productions include the Oresteia on the Walker River Paiute Indian Reservation in Nevada and The Winter’s Tale: An Interstate Adventure (subject of the HBO documentary Cornerstone)
Creator of the award-winning CityStep program, a dance theater teaching and performance partnership between Harvard University and the Cambridge, MA public elementary schools (CityStep has been replicated to other colleges and communities)
